Is it possible to transfer an IR signal from an Arduino to another Arduino without a diode?

Hello!
I have 2 Arduinos.
With the 1st, I am transmitting the IR signal from the diode from the old remote using the IRremote library . Pinout:

On the 2nd Arduino, I receive this signal using the VS1838 IR receiver using the same library. Pinout:

Question: Can I completely transmit the same signal, but only without a transmitter and receiver, but connect them directly. It is important that using the IRremote . This is due to the fact that my 2nd Arduino is theoretical, but in fact it is an air conditioner, the code of which I cannot

@jonkofee

Slightly unclear task. But if there is a special library for condos, I manage the condo in the office with one arduino via IR.
