Is it possible to switch to another ovpn file on the fly?

When i run openvpn.exe in client mode like this

openvnp.exe --config my_config.ovpn  --service my_service 0

can I switch to another ovpn file on the fly so as not to kill the openvnp.exe service and at the same time to disconnect from the active connection established by the 1st my_config.ovpn file ?
Or is it necessary to end the openvnp.exe process and then start it again?

You can start the new one first, and then nail the old one
