Is it possible to stream video from a software player to a separate monitor connected to a laptop?

Good day to all.
There was a question, and her task: there is a certain video player (VLC) or a video on a web page (say, YouTube) on a laptop with Windows (XP or 7), is it possible to broadcast this video to a separate monitor connected to the laptop? (so that the player is minimized and the web page is inactive)

If I understand the question correctly, then the monitor is connected, go to the properties of the monitor and check the box “Extend the desktop to this monitor” (this is for XP), after which you can do anything on the second monitor, the “full screen” mode, etc. d. will only apply to the second monitor when the first one can be used.

And so that flash video does not cancel FullScreen while you are working on a laptop - here is an article with a solution:

If the video card is suddenly nvidia, then they have an nView utility on their website that automates window opening, or even redirects the video stream to an external monitor.
