There is a task for processing video realtime - at the input of a video file, or a stream at the output of a working video.
Video merging processing, for example

ffmpeg -i input.mp4 -vf "movie=input.mp4 [in0]; [in]pad=640*2:352[in0]; [in0][in0] overlay=640:0 [out]" out.mp4

is it possible to do it on the fly?
