Loaded from the installation disk (a slightly different version, not the one on the laptop) win7 home sp1 launch recovery tools. The first link is System Startup Repair. And since yesterday, since lunch, for almost a day now, "Correction of errors on the disk, it can take more than an hour" has been going on. But damn it, no more than a day. Interrupt?
