There are 2 main reasons for a mongo crash:
1) The disk memory has run out, or too little - not enough to create another block (file).
2) The RAM ran out and the OS killed fat processes, including mongu, is there a swap on the server?
In general, look at the logs.
Since the monga start often crashes, then the problem is in the server, the monga is not to blame (it is unlikely that the problem is in the mongo).
Then don't complain if you miss something.
