Is it possible to sort posts on the wall using the VK API?

According to the official documentation , when loading records from the wall, you can specify the initial offset and number (no more than 100). But if I need to unload records not earlier than a certain date, then how do I find out the desired offset? It is reasonable to specify sorting by date in descending order in the query, and exit the loop in time by checking the date of the post.
Is there a way to set this sorting?
