Is it possible to somehow find out from a photo that it has been changed in the editor if there are no visual differences?

There is a suspicion that the photo was changed in the editor, but it is impossible to recognize visually.
What methods can be used to understand that the photo was somehow changed before sending?
The photo was taken on the phone and then saved to the computer.
Thanks in advance.

You can check the hash sum of a file before and after changes. If the hash sum matches, then the file has not been modified. If the hash does not match, then these are different files, even if they do not visually differ.

It all depends on the path that this photo has taken and what is considered editing...
...usually they cling to the features of the camera, ranging from optics, sensor, built-in processing, compression to the absurdities that can appear with stupid editing, there are no universal methods here and the criminologist usually dances from a specific task, on the other hand, in professional photography and cinema there are a number of methods aimed at masking gross interventions and this works not only in relation to the perception of the viewer, but also to some instrumental, statistical methods of image analysis!
