Is it possible to somehow embed some kind of lightweight server, for example, Express, into the Cordova-android application?

Is there any way in Cordova that I can build android apps along with the server? That is, in order to launch an application on Android - and some kind of Express-type server is launched there? -)
If so, how exactly (what to read)?

Google suggested: https://github.com/janeasystems/nodejs-mobile-cordova but I myself have never worked with this
