There is the following case:
The user uploads an image of arbitrary size (meaning the aspect ratio rather than the amount of memory occupied) and then it should be shown in the UI, but at the same time have dimensions of 96x96 pixels.
The problem is that if the user uploaded a rectangular picture, then with a "clumsy" indication of the size, the picture itself is distorted, which you want to avoid.
Is there any way that allows you to bring a picture from a rectangular to a square without distorting the image itself?
