Is it possible to show directory files by GET parameter?

I often look at the layout on the default machine, nginx is configured, which by default looks at index.html and index.php - everything is fine here, but sometimes I want to see what files are nearby, and this needs to be looked at the project folder every time, I thought maybe through autoindex (nginx.conf) hack.
i.e., for example, if you make a request site.test?show-dir=1 , then instead of index.html it will show what files are in this directory. Is it possible to implement something like this?
