I use django-tagging in a project, I generate a tag cloud with it, and I ran into such a problem - for example, I have a hundred articles with tags, 50 of these articles are temporarily not shown, but tags for such articles are taken into account when generating the cloud.
That is, it turns out that the tag is there - and when you click on it, the user does not see the article - since it is hidden.
I can’t understand how to set a selection condition when generating a cloud - this is not clearly indicated in the documentation.
