Is it possible to save data when installing the operating system?

Here I have a C, E and D drive, how to make the system install on 1 of these drives, I know that there are programs to create disk partitions, but I need the data on the D drive to be saved after installing a new OS , is it possible to do this in case of migrating from windows 10 to linux solus?

You can, before installing, just do not format these partitions.

Linux doesn't have the "disks" that Billy invented when the (physical) disks were small. Linux is put on an empty place, then mounts itself screw "disks", if necessary.
