Is it possible to run both Windows and Linux on an Acer laptop at the same time?
Essence. There is a working laptop Acer ES 15, it costs Windows 10 and the soul wanted to add Kali to it with a second OS.
I made a bootable USB flash drive, installed it, did not see the second system when booting UEFI. I poked around for a long time, in the end it turned out that the laptop was tightly tied to Windows, and it was possible to launch grub only after disguising the Linux efi file as microsoft. I did it by analogy using this link lbad.ru/2015/12/19/installing_linux_on_laptops_und...
But now I have only kali in grub, without Windows, and the arrows in the hornbeam do not work...

I have an Acer Aspire running Windows 10 and ubuntu bionic. I installed this thing about a year ago. So the direct answer to the question is yes, you can.
I remember from the details that it seems that I had to turn off UEFI somewhere in the BIOS and install it without it.
the soul wanted to add Kali to it
