Is it possible to revive an AA battery?
Hello. I once bought several sets of Apple Battery Charger in reserve at very good prices - this is a set of a charger and six batteries (remarked Ni-MH Sanyo Eneloop). I suppose, in total, he was lying around the shops, then I have 7-8 years. Finally unpacked - four batteries, which are packed separately, work fine. The two batteries that were in the box were inserted into the charger do not show signs of life. Charging simply does not see them. Both native Apple and "intelligent" from aliexpress - null indicator. I suspect a deep discharge through the charger was and ... here.
Is there anything that can be done to these batteries to bring them back to life? Too bad these batteries are expensive. Or there are no options - to hand it over for processing?

in parallel with a live charged battery, close it with wires or foil for a minute, then insert it into the charger.
it is desirable to drive through smart charging (opus 3100) in refresh mode 5 times.
but in general, it is easier and better to buy new ones. Ikea Ladda (relabeled eneloop) are inexpensive
