Is it possible to restore Windows after deleting it from the hard drive?

I wanted to install Ubuntu as a second OS on my laptop, but I couldn't do it. I decided to try selecting the second item during the installation "wipe disk and install Ubuntu" and it worked, but Windows was gone. Is it possible to somehow restore access to it and make two operating systems?

No

" wipe disk and install Ubuntu"
keywords are highlighted.
even if you accidentally perform a quick format that cleans only the file structures themselves, and nothing is written to the disk after that. even so, some programs , not without hassle , could restore all or almost all data files . but it would be impossible to reanimate the operating system, to the state of being able to boot,
upd and you still reformatted to another file system, and rolled up the whole operating
system upd2, so if you still have pictures there, or something else, then you just follow the links above
but if just
well, this is Linux, it was easier in Windows
what problems?
erase disk and install windows
;)))

There is a chance, but small, since the sectors could already be overwritten in places, this can be done using https://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk_%D1%88%D0... Restore
partitions with Windows, but there may be jambs , and ubuntu will
most likely not have to install Windu on a new one, but you will get the files, after restoring the partitions, you can boot into ubuntu guest mode without installation and create a partition, drop the files there, and then install Windows and linux
