Is it possible to reserve a LAN gateway when using mikrotik as a gateway/vpn-client? Preferably by means of Router OS (meaning without scripts)
Suppose there are 2 identical Mikrotik (MT1 and MT2).
How to combine them for automatic online operation so that when MT1 fails (light out / power supply blown out / etc.) do not lose access to the Internet via l2tp / ipsec. So that the tunnel rises MT2 with minimal downtime.
The documentation does not directly talk about such functionality, I don’t want to invent a bicycle from scripts if there is already a stable solution.
