Is it possible to replace Java with Node.js in large projects

In your opinion, is it possible to use node.js instead of Java in projects where there is a lot of logic, such as Google Docs and for large online games, in the spirit of Minecraft, for example. Are there any limitations or is node.js quite convenient for such projects? Thank you.
