Is it possible to somehow write sound from this wonderful headset?

It looks like AirPods does not allow you to record sound when recording video.
Even professional programs like ProMovie do not see them.
I got out of the situation by filming on one iPhone and recording sound on another with the Voice Recorder application, but abandoned this idea, since the voice recorder has very poor sound characteristics and it is even perceived by ear as poor quality
. As a result, I connect the lavalier through the headphone input and switch to "External Headset" in ProMovie and record the sound perfectly.
Attempts to do this through the adapter in the 7th iPhone only led to the program freezing
