Is it possible to receive new tweets outside of twitter?

Probably a crazy question or just stupid ... I don't use Twitter, neither on a computer, nor even on a phone. But I want to get notifications about new tweets of some people. Is there a way to do this somehow?
Any additional software with notifications to mail, telegrams, etc...

ifttt has a bunch of these types of applets. For example, to link Twitter -> Telegram , the setup takes a minute, the output will duplicate the Twitter feed in the Telegram bot (yes, a Twitter account is needed), there is an option with Twitter -> Email and a bunch of other options. You can google it with a query like "from twitter to email ifttt"
