Is it possible to put the laptop's built-in wifi adapter into monitoring mode from a virtual machine?

On Windows, a virtual machine with Linux is running. Is it possible to put the laptop's BUILT-IN wifi adapter into monitoring mode from this virtual machine? It seems like it's impossible. I didn't manage to do that. Who knows, tell me if this is possible? If yes, please briefly describe how you did it.

If the adapter, in principle, supports this possibility and is thrown inside the virtual machine, then this is quite feasible using standard methods.

Unfortunately, with the built-in adapter, such a focus will not work.
But a separate USB network will start up without problems.
You just need to throw it into the virtual machine, and then everything is as usual.

Well, I think so. I don't see any problems.
Forward the device to the VM and then as usual.
