Is it possible to purchase a database of product characteristics (csv) for an online store?

Please share your experience of filling online stores. We take the basis, of course, from 1C. But in my case, these are building materials with a bunch of characteristics. Shouldn't they be stuffed by hand? CS-Cart is planned, but it probably doesn't matter.

You can try to buy from indirect competitors (those for whom your category is additional).
You can plant a remote content manager and set the task of collecting characteristics. It will cost a lot, but it can be much better than automated collection.
