Is it possible to power two stepper motors from one driver?
There are two identical steppers, there is one a4988 driver
found this article: Https://www.ruselectronic.com/djelitjel-toka/
As I understand it, according to this article, I can parallelize the windings, adjust the current twice as large on the driver, and everything will work as I need. Am I right? It was necessary to learn materiel, of course. As an option, try and test in practice. But even somehow I don’t want to fire the engines.

Connecting motors in parallel is not the best idea.
a4988 is 2A maximum and then with good cooling. Because in principle, it is impossible to make the windings exactly the same, therefore, through one motor, the current will always be less (it is possible to skip steps), so whenever possible, the motors must be connected in series.
