Is it possible to pick up a decent "watch phone"?

Recently, there was a need to use a similar device, namely, it plays on the hand. Minimum functionality: clock, text viewing, music, pictures, working hours . I came across several options:
1. iPod nano
2. esco-watch
3. i'm Watch

Actually, I wanted to ask if it's worth it or not? Which model is better? Perhaps you know other similar models?

Well, I would like to know the opinion of those who used / use it.

Maybe wait for the Sony Xperia SmartWatch? Should be on sale in July.

Used an iPod nano with a strap. Very convenient - both the clock and the player. The truth is it's expensive. Player 6k and strap 2-2.5k. But, of course, it's worth it. The only thing is that nano 6th generation does not know how to display texts. And the operating time is long due to the fact that when the screen is turned off, the player goes to sleep.

The main need to accidentally not view texts ?
Thinking about who the source of such a need is, I have only one option: a session )
If this is true, then it is well thought out. If I'm wrong, then think about my version.

If you also play sports, then you can look towards
Motorola MOTOACTV . Inside Android, so you can screw it up for almost any purpose.

I recommend the iPod nano. For cheating, it’s hard to find better, the photographed tickets are cut into 4 parts by a macro (there are problems with the zoom, it’s faster) and easily written off. Written cheat sheets (7x7 cm, for example) do not need to be cut after the scanner.
The teachers are not yet in the know, we only noticed one, but he can burn with a micro-earphone.

From personal experience - when the player is placed on the wrist, problems begin with the headphone wire. Either wear long sleeves, or (as I do on a bike) wear an additional "bracelet" around the elbow. Otherwise, the wire will constantly cling to something.
