Is it possible to overpower Stroustrup at 16?

Hello! I want to buy Bjorn Stroustrup "Programming. Principles and practice using C ++" costs 4150 rubles. It is very expensive, is it advisable to buy it or take something else?

I will say one thing - don't fucking listen to those who tell you not to learn something. Python was mentioned above. Excuse me, these are different languages for different tasks, and what's the point of starting even with a simpler language, if you have to get over the pros one hell? This is first.
Secondly, as the commentator above correctly noted, there is no point in buying a book for 4 pieces just for the sake of tactile sensations. I understand you perfectly in this regard, but in the life of a developer who is faced with the need to learn fundamental things, there will be very, very many books equal in cost to this one (and often even much more expensive). Now, when there is not a lot of money, it is reasonable to invest it in something more substantial, and only then get yourself a library.
And thirdly, I think you learned to read and perceive the information read by the age of 16. The book is nothing more than a guide to the language and basic concepts, even your background in other areas does not play a role here (although it will probably be a little easier with it), and even more so age.

It is advisable to go to torrents and get exactly the same pdf there for free.
Asking permission to read textbooks on the Toaster is inappropriate.

it is better to take Python
C ++ with a high probability it will come in handy only in a resume for the time being, and with Python it will fill you up almost immediately

Yes, it's possible. Here's a good overview of the C++ bibliography from zero to master, ceiling standard c11: https://alenacpp.blogspot.com/search/label/books
But I wouldn't recommend starting with Stroustrap. Here are thoughts on the IT education of a person worth listening to www.stolyarov.info/books/programming_intro/about.html
Here is his introductory course www.stolyarov.info/books/programming_intro. The books are free. Then you can take on Stroustrap "Programming. Principles and practice using C ++".
