The blue and green circles are the same. Is it possible to somehow make the distance between the waves the same at all points? Or is it physically impossible, given the geometry of the figure?

In order for the distances to be the same, you need to build contours from the outer figure at an equal distance, but in the end the inner figure you want will not work.
