I know that without vt-x you will not run the emulator in android studio. means to debug all the time on the phone and without vt-x you have no way to create a virtual machine with mac os. If you are satisfied with debugging your application immediately on an Android phone, you can try it. But with vt-x you have more options, plus the coolest option is to install a hackintosh with vt-x you will have all the development options.
