Is it possible to make an alert when a new interface is found in Zabbix?

Good afternoon people! There is pon BDOCM, which is monitored using zabbix. As such, there is, in principle, a notification when adding a new onuha. Simply by snmp, bdcom gives the total number of interfaces, and already when this figure changes, zabbix somehow reacts to this by notifying. But I wondered whether there is a more elegant way to keep track of added onushki? Zabbix still detects this very interface and adds it to charts and data items? Is it possible to somehow make zabbix notify about this when this event (when a new interface is detected)?
