Is it possible to make a living copywriting?

If there are such professionals on Habré, then give advice on how to develop.

Any good specialist will receive decent money. For one project, we needed a database of hotels, with pictures and copyright. So the lyrics were, as one friend put it, "sexy." And the base cost far more than one tens of thousands of dollars. So if you write really “catchy” texts, then everything will be fine, there will be red caviar on the table. Well, if you’re just trying to spin on some exchange, then it’s nonsense.

this is probably the most popular direction, among those who dream of “making money on the Internet” and at the same time they don’t understand shit either in website building, or in blogging, or in all sorts of SEOs.
And so, of course, if you go to a serious publication (if they take it, of course), then they pay excellent money. Look at the offers of various magazines.

It is quite possible, but...
This work is not the most profitable, not the easiest and far from the most prestigious. Think carefully about whether she seduces you.
In order to start earning, and not to waste time uselessly, it is not enough to be able to write, even it is not enough to be able to write correctly. It is necessary to write high-quality texts, which, at least, will be pleasant to read. It's good to know at least the basics of psychology so that the texts "cling". Understand who will read these texts, and correctly adapt to the target audience.
As in any other business, you will have to study a lot, learn the "secrets of mastery", without this income will be miserable. However, in the beginning, in any case, it will be like this - to find a good client, you need to have a good portfolio, with high-quality texts. Creating a portfolio is not a matter of one month, and there will not be enough good texts from the start.
As in any other business, professionals earn decently, while amateurs pick up only crumbs. And given that the competition is great, and this is by no means the most profitable job, since so many customers think that it is very easy to write the text: “I would have written it myself, but I’m too lazy,” this becomes very relevant.
Also, it will be necessary to look for clients, normal clients, normal clients who pay adequate money, and understand that writing texts is a job, and far from being the easiest.
You need to learn how to competently sell your services, and oh, how not easy.
You won’t be able to earn any decent money with rewriting and SEO texts. Or it will be a hell of a job with huge volumes, which will make you want to climb the wall. In addition, such work does not develop, but dulls, the style will be ruined in the bud, and in the future it will become much more difficult to write good texts for people. =)
Regarding normal work, any work that brings income and satisfaction from its result is quite normal. Writing custom texts is no exception.

If you are ready to constantly write the same type of articles about countertops, windows, tires and holidays, then rewrite them 100 times, while registering, for example, on search, where you are already spinning in some kind of community that, in which case, will be able to support you (uproot the topic, write positive feedback, trolling is competitive) - yes, you can. Everything is even gloomier on any post exchanges: you will have to work for a spear for days on end.

It is difficult for a beginner copywriter to find a good client, but hard work, good copy and building connections over time can help and you can get $10 per character.

You can earn, but not much. It is better to find a normal job and copywriting in addition to it.
