Is it possible to make a game on a pirated version of the engine?

If you make a game on a pirated version of the engine and put it on google play, then they can sue me? How will they know that it is their engine?

1. They can sue if the cost/benefit ratio of the judgment is attractive.
   
2. They will download the application and see what kind of libraries you have used there (even a monolithic binary is easily divided).

If we consider specifically the unit, then what about the pirated version? If there is a personal edition which is free and has almost all the features of the pro. Splashscreen is still okay, you may need it, but if such questions are asked, then obviously you don’t want something super-technological in the release that you don’t want in the free version, but about paying for the engine if you earn more than 100k dead presidents then decide what to do)
