Is it possible to make a Debian ltsp server with Mint xfce clients?

Good afternoon.
In order to unify, we deploy Debian servers.
Is it possible to make the LTSP server itself run on Debian, and thin clients get Linux Mint Xfce for use?
Or is it better to raise Ubuntu Server for such purposes, and give Xubuntu to users?
