Is it possible to load balance a static site with Cloudflare?

There is a completely static site of several dozen pages (HTML+CSS+JS).
If you connect it to Cloudflare, do I understand correctly that this service will cache it completely (since the site is static and changes very rarely) and will distribute it completely from its service?
If so, are there any real limits on the number of hits per unit of time on the free plan?
PS I did not use Cloudflare, so I'm clarifying.
