Is it possible to link QtInstallerFramework to a git repository?

Hello. I'm trying to make an application installer using QtInstallerFramework.
The task is that on some local machine a git-server is raised, where the program components are stored. In config.xml I prescribe the path to this server. But when installing the application, I get the error "failed to load the remote tree."
Now questions:
1. is it possible to use git server in QtInstallerFramework?
2. And is it possible to get all available versions from the Installer that are on the git server (everything from the master branch with tags).
