Is it possible to lay out using the Bootstrap framework on a layout not created for it?

When the layouts for the site were created, the layout using Bootstrap was not supposed, so I created the layouts with such a grid that was convenient for me. With columns of 60 pixels and gaps between them by 20 pixels. If the layout designer will use Bootstrap, do I need to remake the layouts for a 12-column grid?

If the layout designer will use Bootstrap for an inappropriate layout, then this is his problem.
