Is it possible to launch a mobile application from another mobile application?

N.p. trigger the launch of the application with an instruction to open a specific product or brand in the application being launched.
Interested in both iOS and Android.

in iOS, this is done using the Sheme URL.
You register the protocol that the application will support (well, for example, myApp://) and then ask the system to open the url
myApp://host/path
? that support the myApp:// protocol and are trying to run this application.
