Is it possible to keep the javascript from Adsense?

Do you think it is possible to save the contents of the pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js file on your server and run it locally? Adsense ads won't start to fail? Am I breaking any rules?

It may not start to fail, but you are most likely breaking the rules. at a minimum, you must copy their embed code without modification. and secondly, copying the script may imply its modification. secondly, that it changes from time to time and you will have an old version. Either way, they won't be happy about it.
