Friends, I have a problem with which I've been messing around for several days.
The problem is that I want to install on ubuntu (or at least on windows 7) oracle DBMS.
But I can’t do it, I poked around on the Internet, executed some commands.
Although MySQL installed without problems and I have been working with it for 2-3 years.
Question:
1) How to install oracle to work from the command line?

Most likely, you should not execute "some commands", but follow the official installation manual. Everything is fine installed and working (on openSuse, but there is no difference).
If there are difficulties with reading official documentation , then, as an option, read Habr .

i managed to install on ubuntu only oracle 10g
