Is it possible to insert a higher frequency RAM that Ryzen supports?

I want to buy RAM with a frequency of 3000 MHz, but at the office. The ryzen website says that the r5 2600 only supports 2933 MHz. Can I work on such an assembly?

Can. Look at the characteristics of the motherboard.

You can, but the potential of the RAM will not be revealed. It will run at maximum frequencies for the processor.

Any modern DDR4 supports several frequency modes
Look at the RAM so that there is something like 1800 - 2000 - 2600 - 2800 - 3200
if something like 1800 - 3000 is bad, it will be 50% idle.
