Is it possible to implement NTLM authentication via eToken?

Development of authentication for the corporate portal.
Access to the portal - only from computers in the domain (intranet)
The customer wants NTLM authentication.
The nuance is that users do not know their logins / passwords and log in using eToken ( www.aladdin-rd.ru/catalog/etoken/java/details ).
I understand how to implement normal NTLM authentication, as well as it is clear that it is absolutely not safe, not recommended, etc - but the customer wants it.
Question: is it possible to somehow receive data from this token for some kind of more secure authorization? Through a java applet or something else - it doesn't matter.

It may not be relevant anymore, but I myself am interested. If an employee has an etoken and his machine is in the domain, how is there a problem with NTLM authentication if it just needs to work under the same conditions as normal transparent NTLM authentication? Or were the conditions different?
