Theoretically, this is possible, but only if the list of possible stores is limited. The check is not very standardized in terms of design, it just has to contain legal information, and everything else (promotions and advertising) can confuse your recognizer. That is, he can still roughly recognize the text, but extracting a list of goods from it is an order of magnitude more difficult task.
