Is it possible to have two websites on ASP hosting?

In general, I want to have two sites on the same hosting (before the release, of course).
Something like this:
example.com/first/default.aspx
example.com/second/default.aspx

As you understand, there must be folders for a specific site!
And there were two applications, in the first and second folders.
But I am getting an error!

Is it in Web.config ?
Is it possible to do this, or can there be only one site (one application) on one hosting?
