Is it possible to link tickets somehow more functionally, so that when the description of one changes, the description of the second (or status) changes?
Or is "Link Issue" purely informative and you need to keep track of changes in related tickets yourself?

This connection has no special semantics (functionality), moreover, apparently this issue cannot be solved by built-in tools . Look for plugins that allow you to perform actions on related tickets.
