Is it possible to feed RTF as input to XSLT processor to get PDF as output?

They came to us with a question - how can you automate the process of converting various input files (images, RTF, DOC) to PDF .. If the pictures are even more or less clear, just wrap it in XML, and then the processor will gobble up for a sweet soul , then with RTF / DOC it is not entirely clear from which side to approach it ..

You initially incorrectly set the chain of transformations.
In the correct version, what you have listed is a representation of the original content in xml, i.e. endpoint. And not vice versa.
