Is it possible to expand the printing capabilities in the browser?

Good afternoon.
We are developing a web application.
I would like to get more options for printing.
For example:

• Choose a printer;
  
• Set margins, headers and footers, paper size;
  
• Send to print without dialogue.
  

Of course, this cannot be implemented on the web page itself, all hope is that extensions can do this.
Even the option of "pre-sets" will be acceptable: so that the extension remembers that we print this page like this, this one like that.
Three questions:

1. Is this possible with browser extensions (FF, Chrome, Safari?, IE)?
