Is it possible to do web development on Android as an operating system?
It is clear that it is not yet complete. But what if you buy a mouse and keyboard, or even without it, I think it's possible. I saw the vim text editor on android, I would still like git and full root access ... I think that in five years my question will no longer sound as wild as it does today, but the question remains: what is missing for android as an operating system that it would be possible on it write code? I plan to arrange a small experiment this week, try to say so

Tried it, didn't like it.
The screen is smaller than on a laptop, the keys are small, there are no 100% stable servers.
conclusion: under Android, you can quickly edit a couple of files when there is no access to a PC.
You can use simple means to install the usual distribution kit ubunta / SuSE. Further use is almost no different from the desktop.
Root required. If the machine is on x86, wine and windows applications will even work.
Mastered Cloud9. Installed on my server.
Now I don't care "what OS" to work on.
If the question is whether the OS allows you to have tools for web development, then the answer is yes.
But so far no such tools have been written. Therefore, from a practical point of view, the answer is no: it is now impossible to use it effectively for development even if you have a mouse, keyboard and a good monitor.
Through chroot, you can hack ubuntu, configure vim, and it’s quite possible. debugging the truth will be hard / impossible, if only remotely debug. But it will be sane only with the keyboard and mouse and with the connection of the monitor (that is, on tablets).
