Is it possible to create an Excel report using SQL?

The online store implies reports that are not easy for SQL (for example, ABC analysis, XYZ analysis). These reports are easy to generate in Excel, as there are already ready-made functions. Is it possible to create reports using SQL in Excel?

I have never worked with SQL, but the idea came to my mind to upload the necessary data using queries, and then run the necessary macro in Excel.

Has anyone worked with something similar?
