Is it possible to create a virtual bluetooth device on Android?

Good afternoon.
An idea for an app came up. Since my Mi Band doesn't want to connect directly to Strava, I want to write an application that the Mi band can connect to and create a virtual device (virtual heart rate monitor) that strava can connect to. Is this implementation possible, if so, what to dig? (libraries, documentation, etc.). Thanks in advance.
