Is it possible to create a beautiful and user-friendly website without Photoshop?

Using only some pictures and sprites from search engines. Something much more beautiful than this . And if so, give examples.

You can make a sketch on a piece of paper with the location of the blocks, choose the general style in which the site will be. Then go to coolors.co (for example), randomize the color scheme, tweak it if necessary, go somewhere to choose a font (the base is fonts.google.com ), maybe some icons ( FontAwesome / Ionicons ), and sit down to typeset. If the name is the basic concepts of vertical rhythm and the use of negative space, it will turn out much better than what you have at the link.

Perhaps you need something like this , but the concept of beautiful is very subjective. If you have a sense of beauty and you make a website, then why do you need photoshop? It is needed (as a rule) by the designer.

You can generally make up on the fly without a layout, choosing colors in parallel, experimenting with the arrangement of blocks, and so on. But you won't get far with that attitude.

Photoshop is needed for the most part only so that the designer draws a beautiful site, and if the developer has a good imagination, he doesn’t need photoshop :)
Here is an example for you .
