Is it possible to count clicks on a cell in Google Sheets or changes?

I have a list of students. During class, I note their positive actions. Right now it's a dropdown list from -5 to 5, I give the student an overall grade at the end of the class. The disadvantage of such a system is that a lot is forgotten and the grades very approximately reflect the effectiveness of the students.

IDEA
Make it so that would count clicks on the cell (cell selection). Let's say I praised one student 7 times, and every time I mark the achievements of this student, I click on the cell next to his last name in my table, and in the next cell, these clicks are counted. Thus, this student receives as many points for the lesson as there were clicks.

For example: a click can be on a checkbox, and a pre-prepared script immediately removes the checkbox and this action is fixed, counted in the next cell.

The question is that I can’t pick up a function or create a script that counts clicks on a predetermined cell. Another important circumstance is that I use the table from a mobile phone. And if you need to run a script, say from a button, then it should work on a mobile phone. I encountered the fact that the buttons that launch scripts do not work from mobile applications.

Help me please.
