Is it possible to connect jenkins locally to a script?

I'm starting to learn jenkins, in the settings of the new project I found a connection to GIT and other external repositories. Tell me, can jenkins work locally? All tests that I have locally submit for assembly and all analysis is only local. Maybe a plugin is needed for this?

local execution is no different from remote execution,
so let it log in to your local machine and run all the tests.
